Surviving Winter Storms

We all joked and snickered when we first heard about the snow storms coming and with that said, how was your experience when the power stayed out longer than you thought? I got me to thinking. What could I have done to have been better prepared. Well, my time with out power in this winter storm was in a word--cold.
